Postby Terri » Sun Sep 23, 2007 11:28 pm

Who can help me make a good tapenade?
And who knows how long you can store it once made?

What's wrong with us all? I don't like tapenade 'cuz it's so salty, that's why I didn't respond! Surely, someone will show up w/help!

Personally I prefer tapenade above chocolat. 8-)

Some are salty But not all. We get them at the supermarket and I need to agree that some have been to salty but the 3 flavours we got now are not salty at all and taste great. So thats why I decided it's time to try to make it myself. :P
Just need some guidance

Don't buy tapenade, at least not in France, without checking the label.

I once bought a jar and then saw it contained dead fish (anchovies, I think).

I know what you mean. When we where searching for a good recipe online we found more recipes that contained anchovies than without it.
As I am a trained label reader it wouldn't happen fast that I buy one with anchovies inside. 8-)
