I did a search for this and couldn't find a thread on it so I thought I would start one. I have heard a large number of arguments regarding this issue.

I want to get a discussion and a few view points on this subject going, obviously vegan outreach is definitely the most effective form of activism. However:

Do any of you think that certain single issue campaigns and peaceful demonstrations do any good along side?

Which single issue campaigns do you consider most detrimental to the movement?

Please give your reasons why.

by the way, feel free to add to it! Or if you want to revisit some of the issues here, that's fine too. It's far from settled. In fact, it's always popping up.
